Peter Liguori
Board member, VideoAmp at videoamp
Peter Liguori is a longtime media executive who served as CEO of VideoAmp from July 2025 until January 6, 2026, when president Tony Fagan succeeded him; Liguori remains on the VideoAmp board. His earlier career spans CEO of Tribune Media (2013-2017), COO of Discovery Communications, chairman of entertainment at Fox, and CEO of FX Networks.
A career programmer turned operator. Liguori’s public arc moves from FX’s original-series boom of the early 2000s to running Fox’s broadcast entertainment slate, to the COO seat at Discovery, to the post-bankruptcy reset of Tribune Media. The VideoAmp chapter is the second act: parachuting in as executive chairman in 2023, taking the CEO title in mid-2025 to formalize what he had been doing operationally, then handing the seat to president Tony Fagan in January 2026 while staying on the board. The throughline across all of it is restructurings during inflection moments — Tribune out of bankruptcy in 2013, VideoAmp through its 2024 cost-out and currency-certification push.
