Naveen Chopra
Chief Financial Officer at roblox
CFO who steered Paramount Global through the streaming-pivot earnings cycle from 2020 to mid-2025 before exiting to become CFO of Roblox. A two-decade media-and-tech finance operator with prior CFO seats at TiVo, Pandora, and Amazon's Devices and Services group.
Chopra is one of the most-watched media-and-tech CFOs of the last decade because of where he keeps choosing to sit: at companies in the middle of an identity reset. He took TiVo through its Rovi sale, ran finance at Pandora during its turnaround, oversaw Amazon’s Devices and Services P&L through the build-out of Alexa and Fire TV, and then spent five years inside Paramount as the company collapsed Showtime into Paramount+, ran down linear, and negotiated its way toward Skydance. His exit timing — out the door before the Skydance close, into a Roblox seat that puts him at the intersection of platform, ad-tech, and immersive media — is itself an industry data point.
For our coverage purposes, Chopra is the CFO whose investor-day language set the frame Paramount Skydance is now operating against. The streaming-pivot math he used in earnings calls (DTC scale, content amortization, sports-rights ROI) is the inheritance Dennis Cinelli is reworking on the other side of the merger close.
