Florian Adamski
Global CEO, Omnicom Media at omnicom media group
Florian Adamski is the global CEO of Omnicom Media, the post-merger media-services arm of Omnicom Group. A longtime Omnicom operator who rose through OMD Germany before running OMD Worldwide, he has led the holding company's media division since November 2021 and is now charged with absorbing IPG's UM, Initiative, Mediahub and Acxiom into a single Omnicom Media platform.
Adamski is one of a small set of executives whose decisions shape where roughly a tenth of global ad spend lands. Inside Omnicom he is the operator the holding company has handed the post-IPG integration to — a 28-year company veteran who spent the run-up running OMD Worldwide, then OMG, and now the merged six-brand Omnicom Media platform that spans OMD, PHD, Hearts & Science, UM, Initiative and Mediahub plus the Acxiom data layer. We track him because the structural calls he makes through 2026 — how UM and Initiative get positioned against the legacy Omnicom networks, how principal-media inventory is governed across the combined book, how Acxiom plugs into the Omni platform — set the buying conditions every CTV platform, SSP and measurement vendor will negotiate against.
