LG Ad Solutions

Mountain View, California

LG Ad Solutions is the connected-TV advertising and data unit of LG Electronics, built on Alphonso — the Silicon Valley ACR firm LG acquired for ~$80 million in January 2021. It operates the ACR layer and home-screen ad inventory across LG webOS smart TVs globally, and is the primary smart-TV OS owner that routes its native home-screen inventory through an exclusive external reseller, Teads, across 20+ international markets.

LG Ad Solutions is the rare smart-TV OS ad arm that doesn’t sell its own most visible inventory. The company evolved out of Alphonso, the Mountain View ACR and TV-measurement specialist that LG Electronics took control of for roughly $80 million in early 2021, and was rebranded twice — first to LG Ads, then to LG Ad Solutions — as LG folded the team into its connected-TV strategy. Outside the United States, where LG runs a direct ad-sales operation, the company’s HomeScreen masthead is sold exclusively by Teads under a partnership that has steadily expanded since 2023 and was renewed in April 2026 to cover more than 20 markets across Europe and Asia Pacific.
