Flashtalking
New York, NY (with London office)
Flashtalking is an independent ad server and creative-personalization platform, acquired by Mediaocean in 2021 for a reported $500 million and merged with Innovid in February 2025 to form Mediaocean's combined global ad-tech business, now branded under the Innovid name.
Flashtalking sits at the center of an ongoing rearrangement of independent ad-tech under Mediaocean. Founded in 2001 and known for its primary ad-serving and creative-personalization stack, the company was acquired by Mediaocean in July 2021 for a reported $500 million — a deal pitched as a complement to Mediaocean’s media-management system of record. In February 2025, Mediaocean closed its acquisition of Innovid (NYSE: CTV) and combined the two ad-tech businesses, with Grant Parker promoted to President of the merged entity. By March 2025, Mediaocean had unified the ad-tech business under the Innovid brand, positioning the combined organization as an independent, omnichannel alternative to walled-garden creative and serving stacks.
